In his Strategy & Bus Dev role Ramon leads the commercial development of LTE Broadcast within Deutsche Telekom’s Group Innovation unit. Ramon is a marketer at heart and during his 18 years within telecoms has always put the customer first.
After completing his Masters degree in economics, Ramon worked for TeleDanmark and Vodafone in the Netherlands before joining Deutsche Telekom in London in 2002.
There he started as Group Proposition Manager within T-Mobile International. In 2003 he and his team launched the 1st Ringbacktones service in Europe with T-Mobile UK, which was later rolled out to 4 other subsidiaries. In 2005 he became responsible for the group-wide ‘moving images’ category and led the development, launch and in-life management of multi-screen TV/VoD in several subsidiaries including Germany.
After that he joined the Group Innovation unit in 2011 having roles in strategy, business development and proposition management. In 2014 he worked as a DT consultant in India, developing the TV marketing strategy for Reliance, India’s largest company, which is rolling out FTTH and LTE networks. After returning in the UK his focus is back on developing successful, innovative services within the areas of TV, fixed and mobile (converged) access.
