Mark leads the strategic output for clients at Arena Media, drawing from his background in both strategic planning and digital marketing to put strategic impetus behind the agency proposition of Agents of Change for Growth. He is tasked to blend performance-driven and strategic communications planning to best shape how marketing investment drives both growth now, and next, for the agency’s clients.
Mark began his career with Mindshare in 2004. Over the course of six years, he worked his way up from communications planner to business director, working with a range of blue-chip clients along the way, including Unilever, HSBC, American Express and ITV. From Mindshare, Mark joined PHD Media as a digital strategist working on digital marketing activities for Warner Bros., Sainsbury’s and Sony Mobile, before joining Arena Media in late 2012 .
In his time at Arena he was worked closely with key clients on strategic and innovation projects – including Domino’s digital marketing strategy and more recently communications strategy for Royal Mail. He also writes and speaks regularly on future-facing industry topics.
