Brian Curtis has over 15 years’ experience leading product development for some of the world’s most successful media companies. Currently Senior Director of Product Management at Comcast, Brian’s recent efforts have focused on building the backed content discovery platforms that help customers find what they want to watch on Comcast’s Emmy award-winning X1 platform.
Prior to joining Comcast, Brian looked after new product development for the search and directories arm of Telstra, Australia’s leading quad-play operator. This followed on from Brian’s experience managing music and movie recommendations products for start-up AgentArts, now part of Microsoft.
Brian has a BA from Bowdoin College in the United States, an MA from the University of Melbourne, and an MBA from Melbourne Business School in Australia. He lives in Washington DC, where he’s still hoping to be invited to a dinner party with Jed Bartlet, Carrie Mathison, and Frank Underwood.
